From January 2024, the number of slaughtered sows has been reduced, while the number of slaughtered finishing pigs has been increased accordingly. The number of slaughtered pigs are excl. discarded pigs. Export of live pigs, total are excl. breeding pigs. About 95 per cent of export of live animals are small pigs in the years 2011 and 2012, 96 - 97 per cent in 2013 - 2016 and 98 per cent since 2017. The latest figures are not finale.
