With the publication of 2nd quarter of 2024 back calculations for the period 2003-2015 were added. BYG43 now covers 2003-present.

' With the publication of 1st quarter of 2024 the base year was changed to 2021 = 100 and the weight basis was updated.

The change of base year means that all historical and future indices have been rescaled to 2021 = 100, but quarterly and yearly development rates are the same as before the rescaling. However, due to the rounding of decimals during the switch, development rates may differ in a magnitude of +/- 0.1 percentage points compared to previous listings.

The new weight basis is in effect from and including 1st quarter 2024.
