Based on the access to workplaces and the number of inhabitants in the major city of the municipality on 1 January 2017, the municipalities of Denmark are grouped in five groups. Job access was calculated at the end of November 2015 and measures jobs within commuting distance from a given location. Jobs are given weight according to the travel time from the relevant location. Jobs located nearby carry more weight than jobs further away. The age is calculated at the end of the year.
