From 2025, the statistics are based on data from the Danish Labour Market Insurance for Occupational Injuries. Due to certain differences in data sources and data sets, the results are not directly comparable with previous statistics, which were based on data from the Danish Working Environment Authority (LIGEBH11).

The industry classification in this table follows Dansk Branchekode 2025 (DB25) from 2025 onwards. For periods prior to this, Dansk Branchekode 2007 (DB07) was used. Consequently, the figures are not directly comparable across industries from earlier periods.

Occupational accidents that occurred in 2024 or earlier, but were reported in 2025, do not have a DB25 industry code and are therefore included in the "Not stated" group. Therefore, the number of reported occupational accidents shown for each industry may be low. 2025 is expected to be a transitional year. From 2026 onwards, only a few accidents are expected to have an unspecified industry code.
